CM attends a religious function at Baladia in Kutch
Chief Minister of the state Mr. Vijay Rupani marked his presence in the Shatamrut Mahotsav at Baladia in Kutch. During the event, he talked about the life and values preached by Lord Swaminarayan and talked about their relevance in contemporary times. He further added, “The state government has taken the necessary steps in case of cyclone ‘Maha’.
30 teams of NDRF and 15 teams of SDRF have been deployed in various parts of Gujarat in addition to a team of doctors, nurses along with the necessary medications. District Collectors and DDOs are constantly on their toes in case of emergency situations.” The administration had made the necessary arrangements in order to ensure minimum damage to life and property in case of the occurrence of ‘Maha’ cyclone.
The CM talked about the transparent and fast paced approach of the government in implementing the welfare schemes and projects and talked about de-salination plant to be installed at Mandvi. He also appealed the people in Kutch to grow more grass for the livestock so that the expenditure on the same can be reduced.
The state government had spent a sum of Rs.600 crores on livestock in order to ensure the safety of their lives during the previous drought. The temple authorities donated a check of Rs.11 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Kanya Kelavani Fund. Mr. Rupani also launched a book titled ‘Vani’ during the event. MLAs Mr. Virendrasinh Jadeja, Mr. Pradyumansinh Jadeja, Dr. Nimaben Acharya, and a number of officers, dignitaries in addition to a large number of people were present during the event.
