CM chairs a joint conference of DDOs and District Collectors
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Chief Minister of the state Mr. Vijay Rupani chaired a joint conference of District Development Officers and District Collectors today.
During the meeting, he firmly said that the only agenda should be a holistic growth through a transparent approach. The CM also advised the officers on making a list of various services such as permits, license etc and making them available online for the common people. He also told the officers to adopt to the changing trends in technology and instructed them to effectively use the I.T system and various modes of technology for ensuring fast paced implementation of these services.
Mr. Rupani further instructed the officers for making all the N.A processes online within a month. The officers should ensure maximum interaction with the common people through field visits, inspection of Jan Seva Kendra etc.
He strongly urged the officers to join hands in creating a plastic free Gujarat in addition to effectively implementing STP, reuse of treated water, solar rooftops , and increasing green cover. Apart from that, he asked them to ensure effective implementation of the schemes of the state government such as the Vahali Dikari Yojana, vaccination programs etc.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. NItin Patel advised the officials for making surprise visits in the order to obtain a first hand situation of a particular project or scheme. A review of various works in district using 300 odd indicators of the CM dashboard was conducted.
Revenue Minister Mr. Kaushik Patel, Chief Principal Secretary to CM Mr.K.Kailashnathan, ACS of Revenue Department Mr. Pankaj Kumar and various senior officials were present during the meeting.
