CM dedicates developmental works worth Rs.24.21 crores in Anand
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Chief Minister of the state Mr. Vijay Rupani dedicated a number of developmental works worth Rs.24.21 crores in Anand. The CM unveiled a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in the premises of the Anand Municipality and laid the foundation stone for constructing a statue of the Former Prime Minister of India Late Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Loteshwar lake.
In addition to that, Mr. Rupani dedicated a renovated Bakrol Lake. A sum of Rs.6.15 crores has been spent for renovating the lake. He also dedicated a Dandi Marg built at a cost of Rs.1.20 crores. Under AMRUT, Mr. Rupani laid the foundation stone for constructing a storm water drainage under T.P no.9 on the Amul dairy road and renovating a footpath, the sum of which is Rs.16.86 crores. The CM handed over scheme based assistance to more than 1000 beneficiaries of Tarapur.
Remembering Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his 103rd birth anniversary, the CM reminded people about the concept of Antyodaya which was established by Pandit Deendayal Upadhay. His teachings and his school of thought is very relevant in India and the government is working in a dedicated manner to ensure that the benefits of various schemes and projects reach to the one and all, especially the weaker and underprivileged sections of the society.
Chief Whip Mr. Pankaj Desai, M. P Mr. Lalsinh Vadodia, MLA Mr. Mayur Raval, Former M.Ps namely Mr. Dilip Patel, Mr. Dipak Patel, Former Minister Mr. Rohit Patel, Former MLA Mrs. Jyotsnaben Patel, senior officials and a large number of people were present during the event.
