Government is firm in its resolve to ensure the provision of Narmada water in each and every corner of Gujarat : CM
Gandhinagar, Friday : Chief Minister of the state Mr. Vijay Rupani marked his presence in the Meghladu Festival organised by Swaninarayan Temple in Bhuj today. During the event , the CM said, “ The state government is working in a dedicated manner to ensure the provision of Narmada water in the region.”
The CM also added that the state government has come up with a new scheme wherein a cluster of 5 villages from 10 talukas will be made and grass for the livestock will be grown in the common plot of land. The state government, at present, is working towards allocating funds for the same. The CM also announced that the region will be given a subsidy till July 2019.
The CM praised the district administration and NGOs who worked tirelessly during drought. A number of MLAs, officials from Village Panchayat and officers from government in addition to a large number of people were present during the event.
