NEVADA — It’s the most wonderful time of the year as Boulder City, Laughlin and Mesquite celebrate the start of the season with festive parades, spectacular holiday lights and family fun with Santa Claus.
The upcoming holiday events include:
BOULDER CITY
Start the holiday season with a live reenactment of the Nativity accompanied by musical performances from Boulder City schools and local singers. A living nativity and a Christmas carol sing-a-long will top off the evening.
Boulder City will kick off this year’s holiday festivities with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Frank T. Crowe Memorial Park. Attendees can indulge in hot chocolate while enjoying live entertainment and the magic of the season.
Shop until you drop at the annual Doodlebug Craft Bazaar at the Boulder City Recreation Center, where visitors can peruse toys, jewelry and handcrafted items for the perfect gift for loved ones.
Bundle up with your hot chocolate and cheer on the boats as they parade on Lake Mead. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and the public can vote for their favorite boat to win a $500 grand prize.
As the sun sets, Santa Claus will make his grand entrance under the twinkling lights of downtown Boulder City. Spectators can line the streets of historic downtown to view the spectacularly decorated and lighted floats, musical performers and more during Santa’s Electric Night Parade.
Take a ride through a winter wonderland during a magical train ride with Santa. The 45-minute unforgettable experience features storytelling, hot chocolate and cookies, and a visit from St. Nick.
