LAS VEGAS — A world-class lineup of country entertainment will roll through Las Vegas complementing the cowboy competition taking place at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), Thursday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 10. From Academy of Country Music Award (ACM) winners and longtime legends to comedians with a country twist, there’s a boot-scootin’ show for every cowboy and cowgirl in the Greatest Arena on Earth.
Headlining Acts at Iconic Venues
The most iconic theaters and arenas in Las Vegas play host to the globe’s biggest country superstars throughout NFR. Visitors can expect nightly appearances by Strip resident headliners, chart-topping musical acts and celebrated comedians.
Country singer-songwriter Cody Jinks takes the stage at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas from Friday, Dec. 2 to Saturday, Dec. 3.
The Downtown Hoedown brings a lineup of country music stars to the Fremont Street Experience on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Nate Smith and Scotty McCreery play the attraction’s 3rd Street Stage, with Neal McCoy at the Main Street Stage and Lainey Wilson at the 1st Street Stage.
Chart-topping country artist Cody Johnson plays the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Friday, Dec. 9.
Comedian Steve Treviño plays The Mirage Theater at The Mirage Hotel & Casino on Thursday, Dec. 1 and Thursday, Dec. 8. The resort also hosts Ron White, who brings his countrified laughs to the stage from Friday, Dec. 2 to Saturday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 9 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
Palms Casino Resort presents the Santa Jam at the Pearl Concert Theater on Sunday, Dec. 4, featuring country artists performing classic holiday songs. The lineup includes Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, Matt Stell, Jackson Dean, Ashley Cooke, Shane Profitt, and Danielle Bradbery.
The latest country superstar to headline a residency on the Strip, Miranda Lambert is back at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Wednesday, Nov. 30; Saturday Dec. 3 to Sunday, Dec. 4; Thursday, Dec. 8; and Saturday, Dec. 10 to Sunday, Dec. 11.
Five-time ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Award winner Luke Bryan continues his Luke Bryan: Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, taking the stage on Wednesday, Nov. 30; Friday, Dec. 2 to Saturday, Dec. 3; Wednesday, Dec. 7; and Friday, Dec. 9 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
The “King of Country” returns to Las Vegas, as George Strait brings his “Strait to Vegas” residency back to T-Mobile Arena on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3.
Southern blues rock band ZZ Top returns to The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for a limited engagement, playing on Saturday, Dec. 3 to Sunday, Dec. 4; Wednesday, Dec. 7; and Friday, Dec. 9 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas presents headlining shows throughout the week of rodeo. The lineup includes Gary Allan with Drake Milligan from Friday, Dec. 2 to Saturday, Dec. 3; Ryan Bingham with The Texas Gentlemen and Corb Lund on Sunday, Dec. 4; country rocker Koe Wetzel with Bones Owens and Ben Burgess on Tuesday, Dec. 6; and Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd from Friday, Dec. 9 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas presents country-inspired comedy sets from Bobby Bones on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Leanne Morgan on Thursday, Dec. 8.
Notable Shows and Afterparties with Live Entertainment
Showrooms, country bars and music venues in Las Vegas keep the party going during NFR, as nightly entertainment can be found throughout the destination.
A long-running Vegas NFR tradition, Gary Leffew’s Buckaroo Ball takes place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center from Thursday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 10. The celebration includes live music Thursday to Sunday each week, with performances by Dez Houston & The Longwood Band and Steve Sturgis and the Riflemen.
The Showroom at Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino hosts several country music icons throughout NFR, with performances by Lonestar on Thursday, Dec. 1; Tanya Tucker on Friday, Dec. 2; Marty Stewart on Saturday, Dec. 3; Ray Wylie Hubbard on Sunday, Dec. 4; Ronnie Milsap on Monday, Dec. 5; Aaron Tippin on Wednesday, Dec. 7; Bellamy Brothers on Thursday, Dec. 8; and Jamey Johnson on Friday, Dec. 9.
Rodeo fans can also experience the official gift show of the NFR, Cowboy Channel’s Cowboy Christmas, which features over 350 exhibitors from across the United States. A yearly tradition since 1986, the event is hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Thursday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 10. In addition to the unique products available for purchase, Cowboy Christmas features interactive experiences, live entertainment and free entry to all visitors.
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The LINQ Promenade hosts rising country star Elle King on Friday, Dec. 2, followed by the Turnpike Troubadours on Friday, Dec. 9.
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino presents the MGM Grand Gold Buckle Zone at Level Up from Thursday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 10. The resort also hosts country singer and comedian Rodney Carrington at the David Copperfield Theater from Thursday, Dec. 8 to Saturday, Dec. 10.
The Mirage Hotel & Casino presents Rodeo Vegas at BetMGM Sportsbook from Thursday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 10, featuring nightly live music.
