Sant’Agata Bolognese, 16 July 2025 – Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the racing division of Automobili Lamborghini, has announced the latest Super Trofeo and GT3 Junior Program intake of drivers, each of whom will have the chance to be selected for the annual end-of-year assessment and shootout at Misano World Circuit in November.

A total of 16 Super Trofeo and four GT3 drivers have been shortlisted for the year-long program, focusing on both on and off-track performance. All 20 drivers will be monitored and assessed throughout the season, with specific evaluations on progression, consistency, experience, professionalism and technical feedback. Additionally, a further six drivers form the Lamborghini Young Professional Driver roster and will receive support from the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory and the Scuola Federale ACI Sport.

New for the 2025 Young Driver Program intake is the selection process, which has moved away from the age-based only criteria and now focuses on the most impressive drivers from the opening two rounds of the year, using a coefficient ranking across the three continental championships. Drivers were assessed by the Scuola Federale ACI Sport’s chief instructor Niki Cadei – in collaboration with YDP advisors and Lamborghini Factory Drivers Andrea Caldarelli (North America) and Marco Mapelli (Europe and Asia) – on a variety of performance indicators.

Qualifying and race results are monitored closely, as is on-track etiquette and post-weekend driver reports and technical feedback with engineers and Squadra Corse staff, with an average score determining the final shortlist of YDP members. A selection of Young Drivers will take part in a dedicated training camp at the Sant’Agata Bolognese headquarters as well as the final shootout at Misano. The best performers from the shootout will then go on to receive support from Lamborghini Squadra Corse for the 2026 season.

Of the Super Trofeo Junior drivers, 10 compete in the European series, with three coming from the North American and Asian championships. Last season’s YDP shootout winner Enzo Geraci is the only driver contesting a dual Super Trofeo campaign in 2025; the Frenchman currently leads the European championship for Oregon Team and has picked up two podium finishes in the North American championship for Ansa Motorsports alongside fellow 2025 YDP member, Colin Queen (USA).

In addition to Geraci, there are a number of Super Trofeo race winners in the 2025 intake. Anthony Pretorius (South Africa), Silas Lovén Rytter (Denmark), Jerzy Spinkiewicz (Poland), Patrik Fraboni (Italy) and Paul Levet (France) have all tasted success in Europe, while Charles Leong (Malaysia), Ethan Brown (Singapore) and Alex Denning (Ireland) have won in Asia. Elias de la Torre (USA) took a pair of wins at Watkins Glen in the North American championship. Of the 16 Super Trofeo Junior drivers, 11 nationalities are represented, with Fraboni the youngest member at the age of 16. Calle Bergman (Sweden), Guido Luchetti (Italy), Hugo Bac (France), Al Morey Jr (USA) and Pablo Schumm (Germany) have all equally shown promise across the season so far.

The GT3 Junior Program is reserved for those drivers currently contesting a GT3 championship at the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2. Former Super Trofeo Europe competitors Andrea Frassineti (Italian GT and GT World Challenge Europe) and Rodrigo Testa (Italian GT Endurance Cup) have been selected for the 2025 intake. International GT Open driver Robin Rogalski also makes the cut, as does Hugo Cook (British GT).

Like the Super Trofeo Junior drivers, the GT3 Junior roster will undergo evaluation and performance assessments throughout the season, with a dedicated GT3 Junior shootout also taking place at Misano World Circuit, following the completion of the traditional season-closing Lamborghini World Finals.

Announced at the start of the season following the 2024 YDP shootout at Jerez de la Frontera, the Lamborghini Young Professional Driver roster continues to point towards the future of Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s racing operations. Danny Formal (IMSA), Mattia Michelotto (Italian GT and GTWC Europe), Maximilian Paul (GTWC Europe and DTM), Hampus Ericsson (Super Trofeo North America), Georgi Dimitrov (Super Trofeo Europe) and Jacopo Guidetti (Italian GT) all benefit from factory support this season.
