SEOUL, South Korea, JUNE 09 2025 –  NEXEN TIRE, a global tire manufacturer, announced its all-season tire ROADIAN HTX2, designed for both on-road comfort and off-road performance, has been selected as original equipment (OE) for the Kia Tasman, the brand’s new global pickup truck model. To meet the diverse driving demands of SUVs and pickups, NEXEN TIRE applied its latest proprietary technologies to the ROADIAN HTX2. Featuring its patented 3D Kerf pattern, the tire enhances traction and snow performance, while a heat-dissipating structure optimized for high-load vehicles improves high-speed durability. The compound was specially formulated to deliver strength, driving stability, and wear resistance, tailored to the unique dynamics of pickup trucks.

To confirm its performance both on and off the road, ROADIAN HTX2 has been put through a rigorous testing process. It successfully passed cross-validation wear tests in North America and Korea, as well as deep groove off-road testing with 200mm surface irregularities and 20% inclines. These findings highlights its great mileage potential and adaptability to the harsh road conditions of Latin America, including mountains, deserts, and winter routes.
