Enzo Geraci best Super Trofeo Junior Driver as Jacopo Guidetti earns supported drive

Sant’Agata Bolognese, 21 February 2025 – Enzo Geraci and Jacopo Guidetti have been announced as the winners of Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s Young Driver Programs, earning factory supported racing programmes for the 2025 season.

Frenchman Geraci stood out the most during the Super Trofeo Junior Driver assessment after an impressive breakthrough season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship while Italian Guidetti was selected as the standout GT3 Junior Driver of the year following a strong campaign in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo.

Both will go on to receive factory support during the 2025 season, with their exact programmes to be announced in due course.

Following the end of year shootout, held at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit in southern Spain after the Lamborghini World Finals, the roster of 2025 Lamborghini Young Professional Drivers, reserved for GT3 drivers was also unveiled. Having won the GT3 shootout, Guidetti has been promoted to the Young Professional Driver while Mattia Michelotto, Maximilian Paul and Danny Formal retain their places in the programme after impressing in 2024. As reward for their strong performances on track and in the assessment, Super Trofeo Europe drivers Georgi Dimitrov (United Kingdom) and Hampus Ericsson (Sweden) will also make the step up Young Professional Driver status, receiving official factory support in a GT3 championship this year.

Reserved for drivers competing in the one-make Lamborghini Super Trofeo category and aged 25 or under, the Super Trofeo Junior Drivers program shootout brought together eight of the best performers from the 2024 campaign to be assessed at Jerez de la Frontera over two days in November.

Over the course of the year, a total of 37 drivers (28 Super Trofeo and nine GT3) were assessed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s technical staff, with specific evaluations on performance, progression, consistency, technical feedback, physical fitness and professionalism both at and away from the track. The drivers were aided in each step by Young Driver Program partners, Scuola Federale ACI.

Geraci made his debut in Super Trofeo Europe with Oregon Team, forming a successful partnership with fellow Young Driver Program member Leonardo Caglioni. Together, they took two podiums and finished sixth in the Pro standings. Guidetti impressed in the Pro-Am class of Italian GT and fought for the overall victory in the final Endurance Cup round of the year at Monza, ending the year fourth in the final standings.

At 17-years-old, Geraci was the youngest driver among the eight to take part in the Jerez shootout. Also taking part in the shootout alongside Ericsson and Geraci was Largim Ali (Denmark), Dimitrov (United Kingdom), Leonardo Caglioni (Italy) and Jacob Riegel (Germany), all representing Super Trofeo Europe, while Bryson Morris (United States) was the sole Super Trofeo North America participant.

Meanwhile in the GT3 Junior Driver shootout, Guidetti came out on top against a highly competitive crop of young drivers. Gilles Stadsbader and Riccardo Cazzaniga contested the Italian GT Championship, while Belgian driver Ugo de Wilde raced the full GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup campaign with Imperiale Racing and selected events in Italian GT during the 2024 season.
