With this year’s edition complete, attention now shifts to the 2025 event held at Misano Adriatico
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 19 November 2024 – For the first time since 2019, the Circuito Jerez de la Frontera was the host venue for the traditional season-closing Lamborghini World Finals over the weekend of 16-17 November, as well as the final rounds of the three continental one-make championships, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, North America and Asia.
Across the five-day event, more than 10,000 people attended the World Finals, a total of 73 cars and 121 drivers took part in eight races, with 31 different winners from the four categories: Pro, Pro-Am, Am and Lamborghini Cup.
Since the inaugural World Finals event in 2013, 50 champions have been crowned from 20 different nationalities. The 2025 edition witnessed the participation of 37 teams, seven different winners and 26 drivers on the podium, with a total of 4,475 laps completed. Additionally, 40 races of the World Finals have been contested since 2013, held over a total of 1,044 laps and a combined race time of nearly 34 hours.
The 2024 Pro title went the way of Art-Line’s Egor Orudzhev, while Leipert Motorsport’s Brendon Leitch and Anthony McIntosh won Pro-Am. In Am, Boutsen VDS’ Renaud Kuppens was crowned, with GT3 Poland’s Holger Harmsen winning in Lamborghini Cup.
Saturday evening showcased the past and present of Lamborghini Squadra Corse, with the first official teaser of the new-for-2025 Temerario GT3, set to make its testing debut next year, and which will also form the spine of the next generation of Lamborghini Super Trofeo from 2027.
The World Finals week was also a key activation event for Lamborghini, with a number of road car models on-site, including the Lamborghini Revuelto, Sterrato, Huracán variants and the Urus. On the track, invited guests were able to experience the thrill of the VIP hot laps and witness the performance of the track only Essenza SCV12 hypercar.
The World Finals weekend was packed with excitement, featuring not only thrilling on-track action but also intense virtual competitions. The European Regional finals of “The Real Race Super Trofeo Esports,” supported by Moza Racing, Kunos Simulazioni, and Razer, took place alongside the World Finals of Lamborghini Temerario Challenge on the game Asphalt Legends Unite, supported by Bridgestone. These events were held in a dedicated arena within the Jerez paddock. During the event, Moza Racing unveiled its new Essenza SCV12 Sim Racing Steering wheel, and Macron, the official clothing partner of Squadra Corse, introduced new uniforms for Lamborghini’s Esports drivers.
Attention now shifts to the next edition of the Lamborghini World Finals, which will return to the Misano World Circuit in Italy in 2025, taking place on the weekend of 6-9 November.
