Sant’Agata Bolognese/Misano Adriatico, 4 November 2025 – The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli plays host to the final rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, Europe and North America seasons this week before pitting the competitors of all three continental championships against each other in the 12th edition of the Lamborghini World Finals, which begin on Saturday November 8th.

The series reserved for the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 returns to Misano for the first time in three years, while the circuit also welcomes the World Finals back for the second time, after previously holding the event in 2021.

In total, 10 races are scheduled to take place with over 80 cars and 132 drivers set to lock horns over 500 minutes of adrenaline-filled entertainment. With eight class titles across the three championships still to be decided, the Misano weekend promises to be action-packed.

With four of the five titles still up for grabs, the 17th edition of the European series reaches its conclusion this weekend with just three points between the top two in the Pro class. Having taken control of the standings from the opening round at Paul Ricard in April, Enzo Geraci and Josef Knopp (Oregon Team) head into the Misano races with a reduced lead after a difficult time in Barcelona. Adam Putera (VSR) is the nearest challenger, having taken both victories alongside team-mate Paul Levet in Spain. With 32 points available this weekend, the race for the title is all to play for. Another driver to suffer misfortune last time out was Target Racing’s Guido Luchetti, although the Italian remains in the hunt, albeit 18 points adrift. Luchetti is two points ahead of Target team-mates Giacomo Pedrini and Patrik Fraboni. Returning as a guest entrant to the series will be 2023 Pro champion Brendon Leitch, who will partner Nicolas Stati at Leipert Motorsport. Both will be pulling double duty in the Asian series this week, with Leitch partnering Jiajun Song at Leipert and Stati racing solo for Lamborghini Bundang by Racegraph. Meanwhile in the #57 BDR Competition Huracán, last year’s Pro champion Amaury Bonduel is joined by Andrea Fontana at BDR Competition.

After a dominant season in which they recorded two overall victories, Stéphan Guerin and Georgi Dimitrov secured the Pro-Am title in Barcelona, following their sixth class win of the year for CMR. Renaud Kuppens and Hugo Bac (Boutsen VDS) took their first win in race two at the Nürburgring and will be aiming to consolidate their runner-up position in the class, with ASR’s Miloš Pavlović and Alessio Ruffini equally keen to wrestle it away from them just four points back.

Following a rich run of form, which included three consecutive victories, Pietro Perolini and Massimo Ciglia (Oregon Team) sit just two points behind VSR’s Stéphane Tribaudini and Piergiacomo Randazzo. The latter pairing dominated the opening half of the season, winning four races in a row, but lost the points lead after race one in Spain before reclaiming it in race two.

In the Lamborghini Cup, Rexal Villorba Corse’s Karim Ojjeh needs just one point from the weekend to secure the title after claiming a clean sweep of the Barcelona and Nürburgring weekends. Ojjeh holds a 31-point lead over team-mate Claude-Yves Gosselin, who has yet to win a race this year. Early season points leader Holger Harmsen (GT3 Poland) lies third, three points adrift of Gosselin.

The 11th edition of the Asian championship comes to a close at Misano for the first time this weekend, following stops in Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia. Two of the four class titles were wrapped up at the penultimate round at Sepang, with Alex Denning and Hon Chio “Charles” Leong crowned following their sixth win of the season. SJM Theodore Racing also mathematically secured the Team’s title in Malaysia. The Misano finale will therefore be a shootout for second place in the Pro class, with Zhicong “Peter” Li (Lamborghini Bundang by Racegraph) leading Gavin Huang (BC Racing) by just one point while Ethan Brown (Leipert Motorsport) is a further six points adrift in fourth. All three protagonists will be supported by team-mates in Italy: Li is joined by Korean driver Jungwoo Lee, Huang by Lamborghini Super Trofeo specialist Jonathan Cecotto, while Brown is partnered by Jacob Riegel, with whom he won race one at Shanghai earlier in the year. The Pro class is completed by last year’s runner-up Emilien Carde who teams up with Nazim Azman at DW Evans GT, while Australian teenager Nicolas Stati makes his second outing of the year for Lamborghini Bundang by Racegraph.

In Pro-Am it is a two-way scrap for the title in Italy as just 11 points separate the LK Motorsport by Climax Racing duo Liu Kai Shun and Cao Qikuan and SQDA-GRIT Motorsport’s Changwoo Lee heading into the final two races. Both Liu-Cao and Lee have taken three wins apiece this season, with the latter sharing the #63 Huracán with Liang Jiatong at four of the five races so far. Despite taking a victory at Fuji in Japan earlier in the year, the Hudson Auto by LKM combination of Ling Kang and Lu Zhiwei are out of contention for the title, and third in the standings. Two-time Pro champion Chris van der Drift is also back in action after guesting in Malaysia and is joined in a VSR-entered Huracán alongside Todd Kingsford.

Arriving at Misano with a 15-point margin at the top of the Am standings and three wins this season, Suttiluck “Bobby” Buncharoen is in pole position to claim the title, but the True Vision Motorsports Thailand driver still faces a challenge from two-time race-winning Malaysian siblings Hairie and Haziq Zairel Oh (HZO Fortis Racing Team by Absolute Racing). Third in the standings but just two points behind the Zairel Oh brothers, is the Delta Garage Racing Team by Absolute Racing partnership of Indonesians, Umar Abdullah and Dypo Fitramadhan.

Meanwhile in the Lamborghini Cup, the title has already gone the way of Supachai Weeraborwornpong (Siamgas Corse) courtesy of a double victory in Malaysia. Looking to consolidate second in the points is Kumar Prabakaran (Batmobile Racing) who will be joined again by Japanese racer Shinji Takei. Prabakaran is yet to taste victory this season but holds a handy advantage over partial season entrant Eng Peng “Gerald” Goh heading into the final round.

Super Trofeo North America

With six victories to their name so far in 2025, Wayne Taylor Racing’s Danny Formal and Hampus Ericsson go into the final round of the season with a 16-point margin over TR3 Racing’s Will Bamber and Elias de la Torre. Formal, a back-to-back champion in the Pro category, is looking for his third title in Super Trofeo North America while Ericsson – brother of ex-F1 driver and Indy 500 winner, Marcus Ericsson – is aiming for a maiden crown in the #1 machine. Having completed a clean sweep of wins at Watkins Glen in the summer, Bamber and De la Torre are still in the mix, while the #8 WTR Huracán of Nick Persing remains mathematically in contention for the title, 26 points off the top of the table.

The battle for the Pro-Am title goes right down to the wire this weekend as just seven points split the MLT Motorsport/X09 Racing duo of Tadas Karlinskas and Darius Trinka and the TR3 Racing entry of Conrad Geis and Jason Hart. Close behind is the pair of Flying Lizard Motorsports entries, led by the #41 of Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller just 15 points back from the leaders and only three points ahead of the sister #14 entry of Slade Stewart and Andy Lee. Another driver in contention as part of a thrilling five-way race for the title is Ansa Motorsports’ Antoine Comeau, partnered this weekend by Nico Jamin, who is 26 points adrift.

In Am, Glenn McGee is chasing a third consecutive class title with Wayne Taylor Racing. Partnered by Graham Doyle, the pair have claimed five wins this season, including a double at both Sebring and Watkins Glen but endured a difficult time at the most recent round at Indianapolis. That allowed Precision Performance Motorsports’ David Staab the chance to close the gap in the standings to just four points. RAFA Racing Team duo of Lindsay Brewer and Jem Hepworth sit third in the standings, a further six points behind Staab, having taken their breakthrough maiden victory at Road America. Mateo Siderman (TR3 Racing) also retains some hope after winning both races at Indianapolis.

The LB Cup crown was decided in race two at Indianapolis, with One Motorsports’ Nick Groat claiming a second successive title. Groat, however, is set to miss the final round at Misano, leaving RAFA Racing Team’s Rocky T Bolduc the chance to secure second place in the standings.
