- Hyundai Motor Group signed MoU with APEC Preparatory Office for APEC 2025 to support official transportation
- Nearly 200 vehicles to be deployed, including Genesis G90, G80, hydrogen electric buses, and mobile office buses throughout the event

Frankfurt, Germany, 15 October 2025: Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the APEC Preparatory Office under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide official vehicles for the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting, set to take place in Gyeongju, Korea from 31 October to 1 November.
About 200 vehicles will be deployed, including 113 Genesis G90 saloon cars, 74 Genesis G80 saloon cars, three Universe hydrogen electric buses, and two mobile office buses. The vehicles will be used as protocol vehicles and for operational support during the meeting, as well as at various related events beforehand.
The APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, returning to Korea after 20 years since the 2005 meeting in Busan, will bring together leaders and representatives from 21 member economies discussing key issues in trade, diplomacy, and sustainable development under the theme “Building a Sustainable Tomorrow: Connect, Innovate, Prosper.”
